Hottie Madness, Round 2: The Heartbreakers.

Welcome to Round 2 of Hottie Madness! First up, The Heartbreakers. No super close calls in Round 1, but there was an exciting battle of the abs! There were over 4,000 votes cast in the David/Rafa poll, and even though Rafa fans rallied, David was victorious. We did have one upset with Matthew McConaughey beating out Wilson Bethel. Why no love for Wilson? Is no one else watching Hart of Dixie??

(1) Bradley Cooper vs (8) Colin Farrell
I guess it’s no surprise that Bradley beat Joe Flacco with 88% of the vote, even though Flacco fans tried to rally for a comeback! And Colin beat out Jon Hamm with 62%. As far as Bradley vs Colin, we have an all-American hottie vs. a sexy Irishman. Tough call.

Welcome to Round 1 of Hottie Madness! First up, The Heartbreakers bracket. There is some tough competition here and I think we’ll have some close calls! Not to sway the votes, but I shared a few thoughts on each matchup, and I tried to choose photos that were similar to put the hotties on a more level playing field.

(1) Bradley Cooper vs (16) Joe Flacco
This is quite a turn of events. I actually started Hottie Madness last year because I was mad that Bradley Cooper was voted People’s Sexiest Man Alive instead of Ryan Gosling. But my love for Silver Linings Playbook resulted in a huge obsession with Mr. Cooper, and we find him as one of this years top seeds. So clearly I’m not alone. Joe Flacco is representing my hometown team, the Ravens. He was voted MVP after leading his team to a Superbowl victory. So I’d say he’s had a pretty successful year and his cool new $21mil a year salary is also quite attractive, don’t ya think?
One movie, so many hotties: Magic Mike.

Ashley: Even though I’m excited to be going on vacay, I’m kind of bummed to miss the premiere of Magic Mike. That may seem silly, but it’s like THE ultimate eye candy movie. Men. Naked. Hotness. Muscles. Stripping. Romance. Comedy. Basically, the perfect movie.
Sara: I have been very excited about this movie for a while now. The men in this movie range from my fave Step Upper to one of the hottest-self-proclaimed-off-set-nudists-playing-a-werewolf! I will be seeing this shortly after it comes out, and I will bring my own drool towel to the theater. No shame in this single girls life, skin is skin!
Ashley: Wait, is Joe a self-proclaimed nudist? How did I not know this?? It’s weird. When I see pics of Channing Tatum in real life, I don’t think he’s that hot, yet I love him in movies. What is that about? I know Step Up is like one of your fave movies, so you must be excited to see Channing bust a move again! And how about the Matt’s: McConaughey and Bomer? Double drool.
Sara:Well Joe said he likes to be nude, and naturally I bumped him up to nudist. I am sure that was what he meant. Something about Channing’s charm comes through in every role he plays and that’s why I like him so much. Matthew always makes me laugh and always looks good. And Matt is adorable, but since I know he plays for the other team, I just appreciate from afar!
Ashley: Haha, yeah, luckily there is a lot to appreciate. Well I’m sorry I’ll miss the premiere. Luckily I have all these seriously HOT photos to hold me over. Thanks, EW!

Muscles galore: the Magic Mike EW cover.

I know it’s a Thursday, and not a normal hottie day, but the latest Entertainment Weekly cover has too many hot muscles not to share! (And we’ll be back in a bit with another post!) It features the cast of Magic Mike, aka Channing Tatum’s male stripper movie. Joining Channing on the cover is Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer. I’m usually not that attracted to Channing, although I do like him in movies (loved 21 Jump Street), and he’s looking pretty damn sexy on this cover. Well, they all are. And I have to say I’m kind of excited about this movie! It looks funny and cute with a bit of a twist on the classic romcom. Plus it has a serious amount of semi-naked hotness going on.
