It’s an All-American Hottie battle! Brad had a pretty easy win over Colin Farell, 64%, but Josh had a very narrow win over Gerard Butler. Two votes. 50.25%. So will that be enough to win against last years Sexiest Man Alive? I loved Brad in Silver Linings Playbook, so much that it spawned a major obsession. But Josh adopts doxies…

We’ve reached final bracket in Round 2 of Hottie Madness: The Seducers. A couple of upsets in this one. Christian Bale beat Diego Boneta, but personally, I think CB should have started with a higher seed anwyays. And even though it was a close race, I am thrilled that John Slattery upset Glee-candy Jacob Artist. There is still time to vote in The Players Round 2 bracket and send your fave hotties to the Sweet 16!

I guess there is more to hotness than an amazing bod, and Josh Hutcherson beat out Mario Lopez’s abs by 60%. It was a close race between Chace and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, but Chace ended up winning with 51%. Sad. You know I love my JG-L. So what do you think? Is Peeta more popular than Nate Archibald? I don’t know, I guess this is kinda like the Hottie Hunger Games? Only the strongest hottest survive. And may the odds be ever in your favor… (Sorry, couldn’t resist.)

Four months ago I spent the night of my birthday watching the season finale of The Vampire Diaries. With cupcakes. Because that’s what’s important. So obviously I’m beyond excited about its return tomorrow night. I know I watch a lot of TV but VD is still, by far, my fave show. Well, except for Downton Abbey. And Homeland…
There has been a lot of discussion over the hotness of Ian Somerhalder on this blog. And a little bit about Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley. But seriously, there is so much pretty on this show, I think it’s time to recognize all of the hotness. And in case you don’t make it to the end of this post, anyone else excited for Season 4 of The Vampire Dairies?

I have a MAJOR girl crush on Nina Dobrev. I like her so much that I’m not even mad at her for getting to make out with Ian Somerhalder, like, whenever she wants. She is absolutely stunning. And I’m looking forward to a vampire Elena!

Ashley: First, thanks for spending my birthday watching the season finale of The Vampire Diaries with me. I know it’s not the most exciting celebration, but you know…priorities. After all the new TV shows we were excited about, this show is still my fave. (Although now I think Downton Abbey is a contender.) We checked in during the season, so should we share our thoughts on the cliffhanger finale?
Sara: I am a little confused as to what is going on. There are so many ways this whole thing could go! I feel like overall the Fall TV season was a rip off this year. It was 3 episodes all new, a month of reruns, 2 new, another rerun. And now we have to wait until Sept!! It’s just not right.
Ashley: Yeah it’s always hard saying goodbye to my vamps. But now I can try to catch up on my DVR. I still have the last four episodes of Pretty Little Liars!! So, back to VD…Bonnie helped Klaus take over Tyler’s body so that his bloodline, including the Salvatores, could live. So does that mean Tyler is dead? I don’t know if I can handle a Tyler-looking-Klaus-talking combo. I feel like Bonnie is gonna be a bit evil next season. And is Alaric officially dead? Even though he became a major ass, it makes me sad…he was one of my faves. Oh, and it was nice to see Jenna again in the flashbacks!

50 Shades of ???

{ OK, we’ve discussed the books, now it’s time to discuss the movie. Specifically, who could possible play Christian. Here are our thoughts. Would love to know yours! }
Sara: So I am at the start of book three in the 50 Shades of Grey series. And I am very excited about going to meet the author next week!! Since the movie has been scheduled to go into production, it has me thinking who could play Christian. I am at a loss. I have gone through all the GO hotties, and I am not sure anyone fits the bill!
Ash: I KNOW! It’s really a tough call. Part of me thinks they should cast someone unknown. I didn’t really know Robert Pattinson until he was cast as Edward and now I totally adore him. But would I feel the same way if he wasn’t playing the vamp of my dreams? I don’t know. Of all the men in Hollywood, I don’t know who I’d choose. Well, that’s not true. I’d choose Christian Bale from like 12 years ago when he was in American Psycho. He has just the right amount of crazy, and the name! But I know that’s not a reality, and let’s be honest, I just wanted an excuse to look at pages of CB pictures…so any actual ideas?
Sara: I don’t think there is anyone as hot as Christian Grey with enough of an edge like him. I have been thinking about it over and over again and just don’t know who would play him well. I kinda thought Jake Gyllenhaal…mainly because I know what his body can look like (thank you Jarhead) all jacked up and I wouldn’t mind seeing that again. But as much as I love Christian I am not sure I want to see Jake like that. And I heard Ian Somerhalder was interested. I am torn about how I feel about that, what about you?

…to be sandwiched between such beautiful men. I know, I know, we’re totally ODing on the eye candy lately. But these Entertainment Weekly covers are just TOO DAMN HOT not to post. The biggest issue I have right now is why EW posted such TINY pictures. Don’t they know we need this stuff full screen? Well, now they do. I’m guessing they want you to go out and buy the actual magazine, which I might have to do. The three collectible covers hit stores on February 10th. Collectible. They can’t use that word. That’s how obsessions get started.
People’s Sexiest Men of 2011.

I started using People’s Sexiest Man Alive issue to wallpaper my bedroom when I was like 12. I guess I’m a little too old, and a little too married, to be doing that now, but luckily I have cubicle walls to decorate with my manpaper!
This year People chose Bradley Cooper. Really, People? Not sure I agree with that choice. I mean kudos for not choosing Brad Pitt or George Clooney again, and sure, he’s cute, but I don’t think he’s had as good a year as, say, Ryan Gosling? But don’t worry, Ryan Gosling did make the Top 12. (Should have been the cover. No, I’m not bitter.)

OK, we’re three episodes in. Time to share our thoughts on the season so far!
Sara: I can’t believe I did not start to love this show until the middle of the second season! I am so obsessed. I am a little worried about Stefan. I would like to see him come back to being the loving, caring vamp that we know. Although I am loving the softer side of Damon. Do you think Stefan will come back around?
