OK, we’re back, and with a hottie! Sorry for the extended vacation, but it was really nice to take a break and completely disconnect for a few weeks! So, I’m playing a bit of catch up on this one, but I just had to do a post on Andrew Garfield. (And he can’t wait until Hump Day because a certain other super hero has that spot reserved!) Anyways, my crush on Andrew started with The Social Network, and I think he is seriously adorable. Another one of my charming-well-dressed-nerdy-sexy crushes. And how great his hair? Plus I love that he’s dating our ultimate girl crush, Emma Stone. They are so freaking cute together!
Academy Awards 2012: fashion obsessions.

Well, we’ve recapped the fashions of the Golden Globes and the Grammys, and now it’s time for Hollywood’s biggest night, the Oscars. Sara and I watched the red carpet together, and overall, I think we were fairly underwhelmed. The highlight of the night was Billy Crystal’s hosting. And Christian Bale. But, there were some shining fashion moments, so let’s revisit those, shall we?
1. Red dress + bow + pink accents.

This equation is clearly a winning combo. I thought Emma Stone and Michelle Williams were the best dressed of the night. I loved Emma’s pink eyeshadow and Michelle’s pink lips and clutch. Way to break the no pink with red rule, ladies!

I hate to admit it, but I didn’t actually watch the show. And I only half-watched the red carpet. It’s just so much faster and easier to look at pics the next morning! So after reviewing all the glitz and glam, and a few fails, here’s my take:
1. Best use of red hair and black dress. (And Emma Stone.)

Debra and Julianne both look fab, and I love Julianne’s emerald tassel earrings. Way to accessorize the red hair! And I couldn’t have a redhead post and leave out Emma Stone. You know we love her and she looked stunning in her purple and fuchsia gown. And I’m not one to wear birds on my belt buckles, but somehow she makes it work.

A while back, Ash posted about her girl crush on Ke$ha. I am now confessing my girl crush on Emma Stone.
I love the girl! For starters, she is a redhead, and we redheads have to stick together. I have really fallen in love from TV interviews I have seen with her. I love an actor who is naturally charming and funny. When you watch the interviews you can’t help but adore her and her personality.
