One of the best things about working at a creative agency is that I get to dress like a “creative.” Which basically means anything goes and dressing up means wearing black jeans instead of blue. Of course I do love wearing dresses and pattered tights and neon shoes, but I basically live in leggings and denim. And the neon denim trend from the summer has been traded for sleek coated metallics and tonal graphic patterns. Here are six trends I’ve noticed this fall. What is your fave?

SKINNY METAL
This liquid metal trend is super glam and opulent. Perfect for a night out!

50 SHADES OF GREY
Hey, no reason denim shouldn’t capitalize on this trend! Grey jeans look great dressed up or down, with a pair of bright flats or sky-high pumps.

OMBRÉ
First it was ombré hair, and now ombré denim!

BOLD PRINTS
Who said shirts should have all the fun? Try a funky pair of jeans with a plain white tee to mix up your look.

TONAL GRAPHICS
Stylish and subtle graphic patterns like houndstooth and animal print add a little something extra without being too over the top.
