Four months ago I spent the night of my birthday watching the season finale of The Vampire Diaries. With cupcakes. Because that’s what’s important. So obviously I’m beyond excited about its return tomorrow night. I know I watch a lot of TV but VD is still, by far, my fave show. Well, except for Downton Abbey. And Homeland…

There has been a lot of discussion over the hotness of Ian Somerhalder on this blog. And a little bit about Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley. But seriously, there is so much pretty on this show, I think it’s time to recognize all of the hotness. And in case you don’t make it to the end of this post, anyone else excited for Season 4 of The Vampire Dairies?

I have a MAJOR girl crush on Nina Dobrev. I like her so much that I’m not even mad at her for getting to make out with Ian Somerhalder, like, whenever she wants. She is absolutely stunning. And I’m looking forward to a vampire Elena!

Ian Somerhalder as Damon Salvatore
Oh Damn, what can I say that hasn’t already been said? This man has the best smoldering smirk. Ever.

Paul Wesley as Stefan Salvatore
I’m definitely Team Damon. But that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate Paul Wesley’s hotness. And muscles.

Steven R McQueen as Jeremy Gilbert
Well, Jeremy has certainly grown up. And since he’s the grandson of the legendary Steve McQueen, he was just destined to be a sexy, brooding, bad-ass.

Kat Graham as Bonnie Bennet
Although Bonnie kind of annoys me, I am little concerned for her fate in Season 4. But I do love Kat Graham and her super cool, funky style. She just exudes confidence.

Candace Accola as Caroline Forbes
I love that Caroline made the transition from annoying, shallow cheerleader to sexy, kick-ass vampire. And she’s beautiful. And adorable. And perfect.

Zach Roerig as Matt Donovan
Oh, Matt. I feel a little bad that he never ends up getting the girl. He’s so caring and supportive…and hot…what’s not to love?

Michael Trevino as Tyler Lockwood
For most of Season 1, Tyler was completely unlikable. But I’m glad that his werewolf-hybrid self has a heart and is actually loveable. Oh, and I also love that in real life Michael dates Gleek Jenna Ushkowitz.

Joseph Morgan as Klaus
Even though he’s the character that I sort of love to hate, there really isn’t much to like about Klaus. Except his hotness.

Torrey DeVitto as Meredith Fell and Matt Davis as Alaric Saltzman
I’m not actually sure what’s up with Meredith and Alaric. Well, I think Alaric is dunzo, which is utterly depressing, but a little confused about who’s dead and who’s alive. FYI, Torry is married to Paul Wesley and is part of another Girly fave, Pretty Little Liars.
