I think I say this about all the makeup I own, but I REALLY don’t need any more eye shadow. Like I probably have enough to last the rest of my life. And I especially don’t need any more Naked-esque palettes since I already own both of those. But, as you know, obsessions are not always (actually almost never) practical, and I really just couldn’t resist all the fabulous shades Too Faced is offering in their eye shadow collections. I’m also a sucker for the adorable packaging.
There are six palettes in the eye shadow collection: Naked Eye, Matte Eye, Natural Eye, Smokey Eye, Natural at Night, and Romantic Eye. Truly, something for everyone, or in my case, two somethings. I bought the Naked and Matte, and I LOVE both. Surprisingly enough, there isn’t a ton of crossover with my other palettes. And I love that, unlike my other palettes, they are compact enough to be thrown into a purse for eye shadow emergencies (and yes, those exist).
Each palette contains nine complimentary shades that come with a set of three how-to cards for creating different looks. The shadows have a smooth texture with great pigment and lasting power, and can be blended and layered to achieve your desired look. Each palette is $36, and for 9 shadows where a little goes a long way, that is a total bargain! You really only need one to fulfill all of your eye shadow needs!
Does anyone else have any of the Too Faced eye shadow collections? If so, which ones, and do you love them as much as I do? Here is a closer look at the colors in each collection:
