How is it Fall TV season already? Some of my faves from last year are returning for a second season (like New Girl, Hart of Dixie, Once Upon a Time) and now it’s time for a new crop of shows. First up on my list (going in chronological order): Partners.
From what I can tell, if you liked Will & Grace, you’ll like Partners. (In fact, it’s from the same creators.) The only sucky thing is that it’s getting some not-so-great reviews. But so did Pan Am and I loved that one. Actually, I might be the only person that is pissed about it being cancelled! But I liked Will & Grace, so I’ll give this one a shot! At the very least, it has some eye candy in the form of Brandon Routh.
The basic plot: Joe (David Krumholtz) is a level-headed, accomplished architect. His gay business partner and BFF, Louis (Michael Urie, total cutie!), is spontaneous and emotional. They have a totally co-dependent bromance that is put to the test when Joe proposes to his girlfriend, Ali (Sophia Bush, love her!). Oh, and Brandon Routh plays Louis’ boyfriend and vegan nurse, Wyatt. From what I can tell, it’s about Joe and Loius trying to navigate their love lives without losing their bromance. Sounds kinda fun and cute, and at least worth tuning in for one episode!
Partners premiers Monday September 24, 8:30/7:30c on CBS.

I’ve seen a lot of advertisements for this show – may have to check it out!
