Mother’s Day will be here before you know it. As in 8 days from now. And what do you get for the woman who brought you into this world (only to have to put up with major attitude) to show her how much you love her? I thought we could share a few ideas! Oh, and Mom, if you’re reading this, don’t worry, your gift is not on this list!
Something to read
A Kindle (or Nook) e-reader. Preferably pre-loaded with the 50 Shades trilogy. After all, it is labeled “mommy porn.” (Sorry Sara, I know you hate that term!) Or for a more traditional option, the Paris in Color coffee table book is sweet, simple and beautiful.
Something floral
The Lilla planters from Crate & Barrel are a little bit rustic with a pop of glossy, girly color. Perfect for moms with a green thumb! And this Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh gift set is a great collection of the popular floral fragrance.
Something Kate Spade
You know I love everything Kate Spade, and I have some gift options that won’t break the bank, including this colorful collection of nail polish. I love the bright, modern colors. And for Moms that need readers, this pair has a chic, classic shape with colorful stripes on the inside of the frames.

Something beautiful
We love the Urban Decay Naked palettes, and Moms will love the neutral shades, perfect for everyday use! And the Guerlain By Emilio Pucci Illuminating Pearls creates a flawless collection in a Pucci-adorned package. (The matching brush would be a nice bonus gift, don’t you think?)

Something sweet
Chocolate is always a good choice, especially the Ultimate Dessert Truffle box from Godiva, with truffles inspired by some fave desserts like Red Velvet Cake and Crème Brûlée. And if your Mom is like mine and doesn’t have a huge sweet tooth, how about a cute Pandora cupcake charm?
Something metallic
There are so many great jewelry options, but there is something really sweet about this Dogeared Mom Wisdom gold owl pendant. Reminds me of all the great advice I’ve gotten from my Mom! And this Juicy Couture metallic floppy hat is the perfect way for Mom to glam it up at the beach!
Something colorful
These gorgeous hand-painted lucite bangles from Alexis Bittar would be a colorful addition to any wardrobe! Or if you want a lot of color in one classic piece, you can’t go wrong with a legacy stripe Coach wristlet.
Happy shopping!!!

Great ideas Ash. I would be happy with any of the above! Love you, Mom.
